Brett Wilderman and Brandon Hall founded Forstone Capital, LLC in 2007. Since its inception, they have successfully acquired over 1,100,000 square feet of commercial real estate throughout Connecticut, which is currently under management in the company’s portfolio.

Brett Wilderman

Principal

Prior to starting Forstone Capital, Brett Wilderman was director of acquisitions for HEI Hospitality, a real estate firm that specializes in acquiring and managing first-class, full-service hotels throughout the United States. Mr. Wilderman was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and successfully closing on new acquisitions for HEI. Before joining HEI, Mr. Wilderman was an acquisitions manager for Louis Dreyfus Property Group where he was responsible for sourcing and completing new equity investments and assisting in the financing and disposition of the portfolio. Currently, he is a board member of Stamford Downtown Special Services District.

Mr. Wilderman earned a degree in Hotel Management from Cornell University with a concentration in finance.

Brandon P. Hall

Principal

Prior to starting Forstone Capital, Brandon Hall was a senior associate for GE Commercial Finance Real Estate as a member of North America Equity Holdings. He focused on developing equity partnerships with national and local operators and helped acquire a $2.5B portfolio during his time at GE. Before joining GE Real Estate, Mr. Hall was an account executive at My ePHIT, a specialized healthcare firm located in Salt Lake City, UT. Mr. Hall is currently on the NAIOP Board of Directors for the Connecticut, Westchester County Chapter.

Mr. Hall earned a degree in Business, Management and Marketing from Cornell University.

Ashley Lynn

Asset Manager

Ashley Lynn has over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Ashley has worked as an asset manager at Clarion Partners in New York City on the retail team for the past six years. Prior to joining Clarion, she worked in office asset management with Gale International in Boston. Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Colby College and her Masters in Real Estate Finance and Investment at New York University.

Sara Carlucci

Transaction Coordinator

Sara Carlucci is responsible for coordinating the execution of acquisitions and disposing transactions. She manages the documentation process, due diligence period and any post-closing obligations. Ms. Carlucci is also responsible for supporting the daily responsibilities of the corporate office and landlord representation. These tasks include maintaining leasing activity and marketing materials. Prior to joining Forstone, Ms. Carlucci was an Assistant Community Manager with Building and Land Technology.

Ms. Carlucci earned her BSBA in Management from Western New England University in Springfield, MA.

Christine McCray

Property Manager

Christine McCray comes to Forstone with over 20 years’ experience in the real estate & property management industries, working at both institutional and entrepreneurial firms. Ms. McCray will be focusing on the day to day operations of each building in the Forstone Management portfolio.

Prior to joining Forstone Management, Ms. McCray was with GE Commercial Real Estate, America’s Equity as a senior underwriter, where she underwrote equity acquisitions exceeding $1.4B, as well as valued GE’s existing equity and debt portfolio annually. Before joining GE Real Estate, Ms. McCray worked at JER Partners, Mutual of New York, and LaSalle Partners.

Ms. McCray earned a degree in Business Administration, Finance from University of Rhode Island.

Brittany Adams

Assistant Property Manager

Brittany Adams comes to Forstone Management with over 8 years of property management experience in Class A commercial real estate. Mrs. Adams is primarily responsible for tenants relations throughout the portfolio and day to day operations. Prior to joining the Forstone Management team, Mrs. Adams worked for Sage Realty Corporation in Manhattan as a Property Manager where she was responsible for all operations of a 700,000 square ft portfolio with over 70 tenants.

Mrs. Adams earned her BA in English: Creative Writing and Editing from Louisiana State University
in Baton Rouge, LA.

Rose Williams

Office Manager

Rosemarie Williams is the Office Manager of Forstone Management Division where she is responsible for making sure that the daily operations run smoothly. Since she joined the firm in 2016, Ms. Williams assist in tenant relations, residential lease-up and accounting inquiries.

Prior to joining Forstone Management, Ms. Williams assisted with a $4.4M Hotel renovation project situated in Fairfield, CT. She also oversaw the Affordable Housing lottery selection screening and lease-up in a 400+ luxury multi-family development with Waypointe Apartments in Norwalk, CT. Prior to relocating to Connecticut, Ms. Williams was an Asset Administrative Assistant Coordinator at Hudson Realty Capital, a middle market finance company located in New York City.

In her spare time she volunteers with the Habitat for Humanity - Women Build Group. Ms. Williams obtained her Real Estate License in 2009 at the New York Real Estate Institute.

Scott N. Raasch

Director of Business Development

Scott Raasch is primarily responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Forstone Capital’s asset management strategy, which includes financial reporting & analysis, property leasing, marketing, project management and assisting with new acquisitions. Prior to joining Forstone Capital, Mr. Raasch was a commercial retail broker at Moseley Real Estate Advisors in Charlotte, NC. Before joining Moseley REA, Mr. Raasch also worked at ICAP Interdealer Broker and at Richter Cornbrooks Gribble architecture firm in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Raasch holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University.

Trina Jiang

Chief Financial Officer

Trina has over 20 years of financial background experience having worked at McGladrey & Pullen, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan and most recently, was a Director with Wafra Investment Advisory Group in NYC. Trina is a CPA and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Guangxi Teachers University in China and her MBA in Accounting from Butler University.

Bill Kinslow

Lease Administrator

Bill has joined the Forstone team in March 2018, as our new Lease Administrator and manages the day to day accounts receivable and lease administration duties. Bill has over 7 years’ worth of experience in the property management industry. Originally from NJ, Bill served as the on-site leasing and customer service representative for Morgan Properties, a leading apartment management and investment firm in the Northeast. He relocated to Fairfield County and has experience in both property management and accounting for multi-family apartments, condominium associations, and class A commercial office buildings. Most recently, he served as the Property Administrator with Marcus Partners and coordinated the day to day accounting and leasing administrative duties for a 1.7M+ sf portfolio spanning the NY Metro area. Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA.

Chanella Bentley

Staff Accountant

Chanella Bentley brings over 10 years of financial accounting experience to Forstone Capital. She is responsible for the daily financial aspects of Accounts Payable, monitoring of Expense System, and American Express Coding.

Ms. Bentley received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. Upon graduation in 2006, she started her career in Boston, MA at a bank and spent a year specializing in Fund Accounting.

In September 2007, Chanella fulfilled her desire to use her degree in private accounting as a Staff Accountant. She excelled in managing Travel & Expense Reporting systems, American Express Coding, Cash Management, and daily operations to contribute to the financial health of the three businesses she aided. She is very excited to attain more experience in the real estate industry and relay her expertise within the Forstone Team.

Ryan P. McClay

Director of Operations

Ryan McClay is responsible for ensuring Forstone Capital’s current holdings are meeting the financial and physical expectations of our partners. Mr. McClay assists in the development and execution of the asset strategy, primarily focusing on direct oversight of all capital improvement projects, including tenant fit outs, initiating and managing energy improvement projects, and complete repositioning projects. Mr. McClay also oversees the Property Management Division which includes the day to day operations of the portfolio, financial reporting & analysis, and maintaining strong tenant relations. Prior to joining Forstone Capital, Mr. McClay was the Managing Partner of Turf World LLC.

Mr. McClay holds a BA in Government from Cornell University.

Kevin Vallerie

Project Manager

Kevin Vallerie has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He specializes in developing project budgets, assembling the right team of architects, engineers and subcontractors for the job, identifying cost saving value-engineering measures and meeting strict deadlines. Mr. Vallerie also consults on all of Forstone’s construction projects. Prior to joining Forstone, Mr. Vallerie was a Field Superintendent and Project Manager for various general contractors.

Mr. Vallerie graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.

Tiago Marega

Facilities Manager

Tiago Marega joined Forstone in 2008. He is responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance crew and tenant requests. Mr. Marega also facilitates gathering bids for various repairs needed for equipment and tenant related issues. Prior to joining Forstone, Mr. Marega owned and operated Bathrooms and Kitchens Deluxe A for 8 years.

Mr. Marega holds a degree in Computer Networking Administration from Katharine Gibbs College in Bethpage, NY.
